Zi de zi se dezvolta tehnologii din ce in ce mai perfectionate pentru a ne simplifica viata, a ameliora comunicarea si a creste performanta, lasand mai mult spatiu pentru viata noastra privata.
Si totusi, acum mai mult ca oricand stresul atinge cote inegalabile.
Cancerul, bolile cardiovasculare, anxietatea de performanta, depresia, oboseala cronica sunt doar cateva dintre cele mai numeroase consecinte ale stresului la care suntem expusi zilnic. Dintre acestea, bolile cardiovasculare reprezinta principala cauza a mortii la nivel mondial, urmata de cancer.
Stresul - o boala profesionala
Stresul in munca este a doua problema legata de activitatea profesionala conform Agentiei Europene pentru Securitate si Sanatate in Munca. Suprasolicitarea la locul de munca constituie o sursa majora de stres si nu atat de mult datorita multimii atributiilor date, cat a numarului ridicat de constrangeri ce trebuiesc intreprinse in viata profesionala.
Deseori, stresul este transformat intr-o forta principala a managementului unei firme (metoda adesea adoptata de managerii care sustin ideea ca angajatii sunt mai eficienti atunci cand se simt sub o presiune intensa) dar, aceasta modalitate manageriala esueaza de cele mai multe ori datorita ineficientei pe termen lung.
In acelasi timp, suprasolicitarea de la locul de munca este pe zi ce trece si mai amplificata de efectele drastice ale crizei. Stresul a pus deja stapanire pe majoritatea salariatilor care, muncesc mai mult ca oricand in incercarea pastrarii locului de munca.
Daca maririle de salariu, bonusurile, zilele libere au ramas doar o amintire a unor vremuri mai bune si pentru tine, atunci ar fi cazul sa incerci sa scapi de stres prin metode precum exercitii fizice relaxante si o alimentatie sanatoasa.
